Radio Times Cover
'The New Look'
This Radio Times cover was created to publicise the historical story behind fashions fiercest rivalry, between Dior and Coco Chanel – a story of corsets, couture and Nazi Collaborations.
Christian Dior had shocked the world with his ‘New Look’ collection, of which this look is considered the most iconic, he was expressing a desire for beauty and extravagance after the horror of war.
Kathy was asked to provide sketch ideas of both contemporary and classic poses to support the direction of the cover and to reflect the dynamism of Rene Gruau.
