-a brief history

By the age of 20 Kathy had studied both graphics and illustration – the latter at Harrow College if Art.
Taking on her first commissions while still at college, she and her folio hit the streets of London running – and she’s never looked back.

Over the years her commissioners have spanned the spectrum from publishing and editorials to advertising, packaging and story boarding for TV advertising, music videos and film.

However, over the last 6 years – live-drawing at events has also really taken off for Kathy.

Her first event was drawing behind the scenes amidst the lusciousness of a Mishi May Couture shoot, but she’s also worked in stores such as Selfridges London, Swarvoski, Bulgari, Richard Mille & Louis Vuitton and across Europe, from the mountains of St Moritz to Las Vegas.

Drawing both traditionally in brush and ink or digitally on an iPad, the guests leave the event with their own unique portrait – this unique service has worked equally well for weddings and other celebrations and is always well received.

Kathy always welcomes new challenges, loving the variety of work that is offered to her and continues an ongoing experimentation with materials and techniques. You can view Kathy’s work here.

Over the years while still working full time as an illustrator, Kathy acquired both a BA and a Masters in Fine Art and has  exhibited across Europe.

Her practice investigates the alchemy and movement of pigments and challenges the idea of borders, containment and limits.
